At Sphere Petroleum's recent Annual General Assembly, held on 28 April 2008, the shareholders resolved that the resignations of Mr. Alexander Burns and Mr. Marcello Cardaci as directors are accepted and that they be thanked for their efforts and good work during their respective tenures on the board. The shareholders further resolved that Mr. Ahmad Al-Hashimi and Mr. Hiroshi Tanaka are appointed as directors in place of the outgoing directors. The staff and management of Sphere Petroleum wish to thank Mr. Burns and Mr. Cardaci for their contributions and wish them the best of luck with their future endeavours.
